This standout jewelry provider offers excellent pieces from a wide range of popular designers, but the real reason this shop shines as a local favorite is because of owners Tammi and Dan Ketterman. Their impeccable commitment to customer service and their extensive loyal following clearly highlights why they’re a true gem in the industry.
Opened in the early 1950’s by Richard Ketterman and Neysa Saville, the Kettermans, as their website explains, “began their business with the simple philosophy that if you give people friendly service and fair prices, the business would succeed.” Dan and Tammi Ketterman faithfully operate the jewelry store in keeping with those values, as their spot on our best-of list proves.
The store easily meets their customers’ diverse needs for diamonds, engagement/wedding rings, anniversary gifts, engravables, men’s gifts, family jewelry/heirloom pieces, corporate designs, custom creations and repairs. They showcase a range of designers, including Brighton, Pandora, Triton, Gabriel&Co and many others.
Ketterman’s Jewelers also impresses with a focus on community outreach and philanthropy. Through their First Fruits program, on the first business day of each month, the store donates 10 percent of the day’s total sales to a different local or international cause. The donation recipients for 2013 include Roszell Chapel, Capital Caring Hospice, Bless an Orphan, Sadie Smile Foundation, Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice, Loudoun Free Clinic, America’s Adopt a Soldier, Loudoun Therapeutic Riding, Lombardi Cancer Center, Life Line 1st Choice Women’s Health Center and Hunters for the Hungry.
Whether patrons stop by to carefully select a piece of jewelry or just to enjoy the warm atmosphere of the store’s caring employees, Ketterman’s Jewelers remains a community favorite.
